Luan School Of Art, Autumn Programme Venue: Outcomers Centre Dundalk (opp Library) Date 17th Sept 2013; Time 10-3pm; Cost €55 One Day Painting and Materials Workshop. Learn how to prepare canvas, board or paper while using different applicators like palette knives and using a varied media to create different effects. Paint and knives included. Bring along table top easel, brushes, board/canvas or paper. Drawing class will continue at this venue from 24th September, 10-12pm for 6 weeks. Cost €72. Venue: Dundalk Museum 1, Commencing 24th September 2013 Luan School of Art will present a short lecture series of 6 week on the Northern Renaissance ( Netherlands and Germany) and the connection to Italian Renaissance. Artist discussed will include Van Eyck, van der Weyden, Bosch, Bruegel, Holbein & Durer. Cost €90 2. Dec/January 2014 Luan School Of Art will run a very exciting 4 weeks lecture series on the Barbizon School and the link with the Realist painters in France at this time.
