Lucy wants to be in a new home for Thanksgiving! This sweet girl has been passed over far too many times at adoption events because she is 45 pounds and bigger than most other dogs we have. But Lucy will be the best companion you could ask for. She is a dogs dog, and loves playing at the dog park and chasing the ball (she even brings it back!). She loves going to runs with her person, and has a fair amount of puppy energy at one year old. She is extremely smart and strong, and needs an owner who can continue her leash training (shes getting so much better!) and has enough of a commanding personality that she will listen. She is amazing with everyone, kids included! Put your face in front of hers and she will kiss it until you move it away! Lucy gets too curious around cats and shouldnt live with them. Lucy is amazing in the bathtub - standing stock still and not even shaking the water off! She loves all things that squeak, and when her dachshund roommate stole her toy she just laid down and cried for it back. She loves to play rough with other dogs, but it never escalates into aggression. Lucy would love to sleep in your bed, or in her crate if youd prefer that. She is also 110% housebroken!! Hasnt had one accident with her foster, and always holds it in the morning until she gets outside. We think Lucy is a lab/husky mix, with something else thrown in to give her the beautiful brindle markings. Wont you consider giving Lucy something to be thankful for this Thanksgiving - a forever home??
