Luke 6:27-31 KJV “You Can Do It” Although years have gone by, but there are still something’s that I’ll never seems to forget. Well it happen to me, while preparing myself for the Preaching Ministry at J. Dalton Havard School for Theological Studies in Houston, TX (SWBTS). I was entering my second year of preparation feeling/having confidence because of my GPA for the first semester was good and exciting. Before the second semester begins I register for three classes and one of them I found was very challenging was Christian Counseling taught by Dr. Ira Williams. What was most interesting Dr. Williams had a 4pg syllabus indicating what needs to be done in order to pass his class. For example, he had book reports, scripture readings, quiz, pop quiz, mid-term, finals and not to mention bookssssssss reading 4 of them, counseling enactment, preaching and other things. After he had gone over the syllabus with the class then he said with a very soft spoken voice You Can Do It. Here in the text Dr. Luke the known physician writes/records Jesus’ teaching on “HUMILITY” But I say unto you which HEAR (I like that the only way for US To Do It WE must HEAR) Love your enemies, do good to them that hate you vs. 27.....
