Lydney Docks a nice success story with lots of parallels to what we are looking to achieve at Northfleet Harbour, this harbour with its 200 years of history had substantial Heritage Lottery Funding and support from the Environment Agency in its restoration and maintenance. We are looking to do the same for Northfleet Harbour with its 2000 years of use and are busy raising funds for our development plan and building up alliances with all the major stakeholders, its good to see what can be achieved and that we are on the right track. lydney-online.co.uk/local-information/lydney-history/lydney-docks/
