M.S.A.R. has been lucky. We started off with Fito as the Champ, - TopicsExpress

M.S.A.R. has been lucky. We started off with Fito as the Champ, someone I consider a friend and brother, and a champ on/off the course. The type of guy that is highly competitive, but at the same time giving us all tips knowing full well that we will use those tips to challenge him. When I completed my run today, he was probably yelling the loudest at how well I had done. Now comes along our new champ---John Collins-- and guess what- he is out there giving me tips knowing I want what he has. A true champion in the pure essence of the word, is not just a champion when he competes. It is person that unselfishly pushes you even though there is a chance doing so will be at his own demise. But a true champion doesnt see it as a defeat; he sees it as a victory b/c he made you better and now has an opportunity to better himself. I once read a quote about the attorneys, and paraphrasing that read be like attorneys, in the courtroom they duel to the death, outside of the courtroom, they are the best of friends. In todays world, there is not enough of that mentality. Yes, I want what Fito had and John Collins now has. But I realize that if the day comes when I jump to first place in a competition, I still have some very large shoes to fill. The tone has been set that the Champ from M.S.A.R. cannot only ride his motor, but more importantly, that he helps those that he can along the way. John, welcome to M.S.A.R. Welcome to the stage as the new Champ! You definitely deserve it!!!!! P.S.- Where can I find a pedestal like yours?
