Precinct: 8th Precinct Location: W. McNichols/Vaughn Date/Time: 9/29/14 12:30 a.m. CIRCUMSTANCES: The 63 year old female victim was leaving the area when a suspect approached her. The suspect forced the victim into her vehicle and drove to Eight Mile and Evergreen, where he pushed her out of the vehicle and fled in an unknown direction. Taken were a brown 2005 Ford Taurus with the handicap (partial) license plate of #2939, a denim purse, ID, social security card, PNC Bank card, medical card, Metro PCS phone, and $15 U.S. currency. The victim was not injured. Precinct: 10th Precinct Location: 9800 block of Livernois Date/Time: 9/29/14 1:00 a.m. CIRCUMSTANCES: The 26 year old female and male victims were driving in the above area, when an unknown make/model vehicle pulled up next to them and fired multiple shots into the vehicle. The 26 year old female victim was fatally wounded and the male victim was non-fatally wounded. Precinct: 7th Precinct Location: Vernor/Parker Date/Time: 9/29/14 1:10 a.m. CIRCUMSTANCES: The 15 and 20 year old male victims were at a friend’s house, when a large fight ensued. As they were leaving the location, a 2002 Honda CVS pulled up and fired several gunshots striking both victims. Both victims were non-fatally wounded. The suspect fled the scene. Precinct: 4th Precinct Location: 8400 block of Whittaker Date/Time: 9/29/14 7:20 a.m. CIRCUMSTANCES: The 34 year old male victim was in the suspect’s backyard, when he was fatally shot. The circumstances behind this incident are still being investigated. Precinct: 3rd Precinct Location: St. Clair/Warren Date/Time: 9/29/14 11:30 a.m. CIRCUMSTANCES: The 32 year old male victim was in the area when a suspect attempted to rob him. The victim attempted to run away and the suspect fired multiple shots at him, striking him in the leg. The victim was non-fatally wounded. The suspect fled the scene. Nothing was taken. Precinct: 5th Precinct Location: 4100 block of Neff Date/Time: 9/29/14 7:00 p.m. CIRCUMSTANCES: The 54 year old male victim was at the above (vacant) location, when he encountered 2 suspects, stealing the hot water tank. The suspects shot the victim multiple times. The victim was non-fatally injured. The suspects fled the location. Precinct: 4th Precinct Location: Military/Regular Date/Time: 9/29/14 8:00 p.m. CIRCUMSTANCES: The 24 year old male victim was walking in the alley, when he heard shots and felt pain. Precinct: 9th Precinct Location: Hickory/Gratiot Date/Time: 9/29/14 8:45 p.m. CIRCUMSTANCES: The 23 year old male victim was standing at the bus stop, when he was approached by an armed suspect who began a conversation. The suspect and victim began walking to the next bus stop and then suspect pushed the victim. The victim saw the suspect reaching to pull a gun from his waistband, and began running. The victim heard a shot fired and was struck in his arm. The victim was non-fatally wounded. Precinct: 4th Precinct Location: Gleason/Annabelle Date/Time: 9/29/14 11:50 a.m. CIRCUMSTANCES: The 5 victims were standing at the corner, when a white minivan drove by and an unknown armed suspect began firing shots. All victims were struck by gunfire and non-fatally wounded. The suspect(s) fled the scene.
