MALAGA WEATHER UPDATE Friday 7th March 2014: Well what a day that was yesterday full of glorious sunshine and warm calm air!!!......Good morning everyone and welcome to a new day. Straight off we have to warn about those winds......yes, they are back or coming back, depending on where you are situated in the group. The whole of neighbouring Cadiz Province is covered by Yellow Warnings for this wind as of 12 Midday and I was expecting a warning or two for Malaga but as yet nothing. Do take care!!!.......The sun continues to shine over most of the area. However, we are expecting to see cloud cover build along the Western Costa del Sol and beyond towards Gibraltar as the day progresses. How Far East this cloud will come is an unknown but at least to Marbella is expected....... Saturday the sun continues with fluffy bits and overnight those lower temperatures are gonna bite, particularly inland. The winds also continue with Cadiz remaining under a Yellow Alert all day Saturday to midnight for strong winds. Needless to say, Malaga may see an alert spring up for the winds so keep watching this space!!!.......Into Sunday we get blown and again sun with fluffy bits, cooler daytime temperatures but still windy, and as we progress into next week we continue to see the same M.O. right through the week as I write, with those winds remaining draughty.......Now, I was having a word with little Johnnys teacher yesterday, it literally was a word as she didnt speak much English and my Spanish is about as much good as a chocolate tea spoon!!!.....Anyway, she was telling me in semi-sign language that Little Johnnys been following a page on Facebook and was telling her all about it. She went on to sign that the day before, Little Johnny had walked into class with only one glove on and when she queried this with him he said he had been reading the weather forecast on LFWW and noted it said it was going to be warm......but on the other hand cold!!!!!!!.........OK, how many of you were getting concerned about the fact it was a little Johnny joke???.......it was clean but I bet poor old M broke out in a sweat with her finger hovering over that great big red BAN button as she read it!!!.......Do take care in that wind, stay tuned, watch for Alerts coming into force or changing, get your friends on board, and if your going kite surfing in Tarifa tomorrow, send the group a postcard......from Space!!! :).....That beast of a storm/hurricane I spoke of yesterday continues to build today out in the Mid Atlantic and as yet its on course to do what I said and race off up tNorth. Still expect those of you reading this in the UK to have perfect drying weather from this thing Sunday so you lot take care.....dont forget peeps to watch for those wild fires and post up anything fire/weather related of relevance to the group......Jim Fraser for the LFWW Network :)
