MAPUSA: A motorcyclist was seriously injured when a goods carrier rickshaw dashed him at Mapusa. Ashok Jadhav resident of Marna in Siolim complained that accused person Raghuraj Naik resident of Tuem in Pernem drove his Tata Ace rickshaw in a rash and negligent manner and without proper care and caution when carrying iron square tubes in his goods carrier and while taking reverse at junction road near Tar bridge - Mapusa the iron square tube dashed him while he was proceeding from Bastora towards Mapusa city on his motorcycle. Jadhav complained that as a result of the dashing he sustained grievous bodily injuries. Police has registered the case of rash and negligent driving against the rickshaw driver under sections 279, 338 of IPC. Head constable CG Parsekar is further investigating the accident.
