MAR 1:2-5, 7-,8 It is written in Isaiah the prophet: I will send my messenger ahead of you, who will prepare your way -- a voice of one calling in the desert, Prepare the way for the Lord, make straight paths for him. And so John came, baptizing in the desert region and preaching a baptism of repentance for the forgiveness of sins. The whole Judean countryside and all the people of Jerusalem went out to him. Confessing their sins, they were baptized by him in the Jordan River. And this was his message: After me will come one more powerful than I, the thongs of whose sandals I am not worthy to stoop down and untie. I baptize you with water, but he will baptize you with the Holy Spirit. God’s Covenant to save humanity was: For to us a child is born [Jesus], to us a son [Jesus] is given [to the Cross], and the government [of the New Testament] will be on his [resurrected Life Giving Spirit’s] shoulders. And he [Jesus, God’s resurrected Holy One] will be called Wonderful [Miraculous] Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. Of the increase of his [Jesus’ seed] government and peace there will be no end. He [Jesus, God’s resurrected the Holy One] will reign on Davids throne and over his [Jesus’] kingdom, establishing and upholding it with justice and righteousness from that time on and forever. The zeal of the [Father] LORD Almighty will accomplish this [in Jesus]. Isaiah 9:6 ISA 59:20-21 The Redeemer [Jesus] will come to Zion, to those in Jacob who repent of their sins, declares the LORD. As for me, this is my covenant with them [who repent], says the LORD [and Father of the Redeemer]. My Spirit, who is on you [the Redeemer to reconcile myself through you to those who repent], and my words [teachings] that I have put in your mouth will not depart from your mouth, or from the mouths of your children [disciples], or from the mouths of their descendants [disciples] from this time on and forever, says the LORD. God’s Covenant was his promise to place all the fullness of his Deity, God’s Holy Essence [his Spirit], upon his resurrected Son. It was God’s desire for Jesus to baptize those who would received him. That they, those who repented might receive in them, the glory and fullness given by God to Christ. Gods fullness that was given to Jesus was to equip those whom Jesus baptized with the holiness of and obedience of his Son along with divine power, wisdom, strength, and understanding that they might participate his the holy nature, and escape the corruption that is in the world caused by evil desires. It is Christ a person that is the hope of glory for that person. HAVE YOU BEEN BAPTIZED BY JESUS WITH THE HOLY NATURE? REPENT, ASK AND YOU WILL BE GIVEN!!
