MAROL EAST INDIAN ASSOCAITION is pleased to annouce that it will be having its 10th Annual Social on Sunday 3rd November 2013, at, St. John the Evangelist School Premises from 6.30 pm onwards. We will be having a unique Dance Competition open to all, the rules of which are as follows. DANCE COMPETITION RULES All participants must abide by the following rules: 1. All participants will be allowed to take part in the dance competition by agreeing to dance only on any recorded East Indian song. 2. The participants will be judged in two categories double ( 8 entries ) /group dancing( 8 entries ) on first come first serve basis. 3. The participants must display good sportsmanship throughout the dance competition. 4. The participants can only register in any one (1) category stated above. This is encourage more participation 5.Must be appropriately dressed for category he/she is dancing in. 6. Entrance fee for double category will be Rs.200/- and Rs.500/- for group dancing . 7.By participating, the participants grant the Marol East Indian Association permission to use their name and/or likeness for promotional purposes without additional compensation. 8. The decision of panel of judges will be final and binding on all the participants. 9. The participants should submit clear and audible CD’s containing the song along with the registration form duly filled in, well in advance to the Association latest by 25th October 2013. No pen drive allowed. 10. The dance timing is not more than 8 minutes per category/per participants. 11. The group category should contain minimum 4 and maximum 12 participants only. 12. The last date for registration is 15th October 2013. Entry will be drawn by lottery and if the participants, whose names are called out, if not present shall be disqualified and no requests will be entertained in any manner whatsoever. 14. The Dance Competition is open to all age groups.
