MEET & GREET FOR THE MOON! ~ Id like to invite everyone to join up this evening for the Extra Super Moon and Perseid Meteor Shower. I was thinking somewhere between Long Beach and the new Bay St. Louis harbors. I thought maybe if we started earlier, we could meet in Long Beach at the Town Green where there are several photo ops in the vicinity. There are fountains, a water splash pad for the kids, a nice deck around an oak etc. at the center. Nearby is the old Bankhouse coffee shop in the historic bank building, the awesome antebellum style City Hall, a nice clean alley between the bankhouse and Lil Rays where they hold the Farmers Markets, a few quaint little spots with oaks or bistros and around the corner is Darwells for colorful settings....Then we could head down to the new harbor in Bay St. Louis where we should get a great opportunity for the super moon and weather permitting the meteor shower. What do you all think? 5:30ish at the Town Green in Long Beach?
