MEETING THE NEEDS IN PUROK BANGKAL IRC Sagay sees the many needs here in Purok Bangkal and we are moving to meet those needs. We have recently finished the contruction of a public toilet and shower which we built right underneath the structure of our water tank. We completed this water project several months ago together with a water filter system that has since provided clean, drinking water to about twenty families clustered around the IRC Childrens Center. The public toilet and shower is for the use of our IRC scholars and their families. This is the first ever flush toilet and shower for Purok Bangkal that is for public use. This would immediately impact the hygiene and health of our IRC scholars and their families most of whom do not even have a rudimentary toilet. We appreciate the partnerships that enable to undertake projects such as these as we take on the IRC mission of transformational community development here in Purok Bangkal.
