MEMBER INFORMATION REGARDING BURGER KING SEYMOUR. Many SSO members have been excited about Burger King as a new member of our community. Located on Chapman highway next to Food City, they have done a good job with the building design, and the new round sign design. SSO has discovered that the franchisee owners and vice president are long-time Seymour Residents! Dwaine Setzer and Donnie Carr are to be given credit for placing BK here not only as another source for fast food, but for also giving many residents employment in this tough economy. I had a Whopper there last week that actually looked like the marketing ads!! It was fresh, and very tasty! The lady they had working the register and dining area was wonderful! Jamie (I dont know her last name) truly loves her job and working with the public. She had a true sense of ownership while she helped the customers and chipped in at keeping this location clean and well served. Today, one of the employees Kari Lynn went out of her way to help me in a variety of ways. The folks making the hiring decisions here are making some great choices. My only disappointment is that they did not include a play area for children. Give them a try. You might be surprised as I was, that the service, cleanliness, and food quality surpassed any other Burger King I had visited. They have free wi-fi with electrical outlets at most tables. They are accessible from the Food City parking lot, 411, and Chapman.
