MERRY CHRISTMAS! YOUR DAILY CRIME REPORT 12-24-14 Deputies responded to the Juniper Road area in reference to 8 vehicles at 6 different residences that were burglarized overnight. All the victims indicated that they had left their vehicles unlocked. The total loss valued of items was $2,000. Units responded to the Wal-Mart on SW Hwy 200 in reference to the theft of a purse. Investigation revealed a white male driving a brown Chevrolet Blazer with what is believed to be Pennsylvania tags, stole the victim’s purse from the shopping cart while she was trying to load her items into her vehicle. Deputy DeAngelis attempted a traffic stop at NW 60th CT & NW 65th Place on a vehicle. The driver, Jamarcus Alexander pulled over but then exited the vehicle and ran on foot. A perimeter was set up, K-9 & AIR1 responded. Alexander was later located when he came back to the scene with his father to turn himself in. He was arrested and transported to the Gold Star Hotel.
