MISSING PERSONS: Name(s): . . . . . So called Wigan Athletic fans. Last seen:. . . . .May 2013 Its hard to believe that this was only 20 months ago, because it feels like a million years ago & i think its safe to say that were never gonna see half of these lot ever again supporting Wigan Athletic, coz sadly heres where it all started to go pear shaped. That unbelievable moment of winning the famous F A Cup, a moment that were all gonna treasure forever, was sadly followed by relegation from the Premier League, then Martinez went to Everton, since then the majority of that squad has also left & now 3 managers later we find ourselves once again facing relegation, but this time from the Championship & were left with a squad of heart hearted tossers, who have no passion or desire to give 100% for the tree & crown of Wigan Athletic FC!!! So where do we go from here??? Theres now 16 days remaining of the January transfer window & lets be honest theres no signs of anyone wanting to come to our club, for the simple fact that no one wants to go to a crisis club, so its looking like were gonna have to make do with what weve got. Last week McClean & Waghorn actually did look good together up front for 20 minutes, but at the end of the day theyre not natural strikers, yes McClean keeps proving to everyone that he can score goals, but i still think hes of more value to us on the wing with the option of the free role to cut inside like he does so well, coz i reckon hell score more goals that way & he still has the option to cross the ball whenever he cant cut inside. I dont think Fortune is the answer, hes been an almost ever present for the last 2 managers but still he cant find the net, although after saying that he has usually been played as a lone striker. Then theres Delort who desperately wants to play but we keep hearing hes shit, so he never gets a chance, so how r we ever gonna know what he can actually do??? Delort scores for fun in the development team & gets good reports, along with Cosgrove, Robles & Flores, so why not try him upfront with one these lads??? Like it was mentioned on here only last week, in the good old days when a reserve team player did well then they used to get a chance in the first team as a reward, so why not give them a chance??? Lets face facts they cant do any worse than the current lads are doing & time really is fast running out for us, its make or break time for us, coz we defo need to try something different, coz this shite just cant do it & unless we want to find ourselves in League One next season then we need to change something now!!! Up the Tics!!! YAMS!!!
