MISTAKEs: Illusion to Vision? Awareness in mistakes or even calamities, & application of creativity (reflection) in it, resulted into many great discoveries/ inventions: penicillin, steam engine, asprin for dissolving blood clot, potato chips, toast, west Indies, chocolate chip cookies, the Cardiac Pace-Maker, microwave ovens, X-ray photography, ink-jet printers, Post-It Notes, silly putty etc …. Thus, view mistakes as: The stepping stones to lead change Tool to chip off barriers in relationships Telescope & Microscope to see the realities in the circumstances That which exercises our patience to develop resilience The tool to tap into your potentials The best teacher: a source of new ideas & helps to reflect, realise, relive Gateway to life lesson’s & more opportunities Tools to break pre-conceived notions opening new avenues for growth They do not define you but how you use it to design the life further is imp A springboard for change stimulating creativity… And many more The time, energy, attention & resources were spent not on complaining but on contemplating on the possibilities and thus the positive results When life throws lemons at them, they make lemonade. When they got sour apples, they made applesauce and apple pies. When you regard your mistakes as failures, you will fail to progress towards your potential. Instead, start to look at your mistakes as new opportunities for growth. Mistakes lead to breakthroughs & thus, don’t let your fear of making mistakes, or regrets over past ones, keep you from accomplishing what you want in life. Most are conditioned that making mistakes is almost a sin and thus they back out and live a mediocre life. When you live to impress and not express, you either aggress or depress! Don’t tolerate but celebrate making a few mistakes- contemplate Don’t breakdown but search for breakthroughs…. and be happy.
