MORNING MOTIVATION- NEVER HOOK YOUR WAGON TO A MAN, HOOK IT TO GOD "Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart:and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light" (Matthew 11:28-30) Friend, you can allow a man into your wagon (Acts 8:31), but never hook your wagon or hinge your hopes on a man. Hook your wagon and hinge your hopes on God through Jesus. No matter, how powerful, great, anointed a man may be: - He is limited whereas God is unlimited (Psalm 119:96 amplified). - He is here today and tomorrow he is no more. God is from everlasting to everlasting (Ps 90:2, Is 40:7-8) - He will put a heavier load on you but God will carry your load (Matthew 11:28-30, Isaiah 10:27) - He can only see here, but God sees here and there (Jer 29:11) - He will lay down your life to save his own, but God will lay down his life to save your life (Gen 3:12, Jn 15:13) - He will disappoint you some day but God will appoint you. (Ps 75:5-7) - He can never carry you above his shoulder for a long time but God will set you far above (Eph 2:19-22) - He will be uncomfortable when you begin to operate at his level but God is excited when you do and wants you to go beyond him(Jn 14:12). Therefore, never hook your wagon to man but you are free to allow worthy men into your wagon. I have hooked my wagon to God and the journey is joyous. Please hook your wagon and hinge your hopes on God. Shalom!
