MOTHER...A POEM...BY ME... Lonely in the universe Would I be, without your form! My mother, you helped me through Every typhoon and each storm At times when I was down and sad Sinking in grief beyond words! You were the candle I had! Sweetest voice, like that of birds Worries sometimes make me weak Turn my fresh surroundings bleak! I crash afar from the peak I seek! But through the window when you peek You see my head thus hanging down Youre moved and your loves fountains flow! Healing my wounds, you wipe my tears Protecting my hearts sacred glow! Such kindness I cannot repay But I want to, without delay! You are a star, a moon, a ray A guiding light on lifes way! Deep subtle honesty behold! Nice homely warmth in bitter cold Prayers that escape your lips Oh, how I prize your mellow hold! You treat me like your high treasure You are bliss, joy and passion mine! Let distances and times blur Angel of light, I be thine! Want I not to lose your soul Ill be by your side till end! For with you, Ill be complete, whole This only you can comprehend!
