MQM will support very positive legal and constitutional step taken for the permanent peace in Karachi: Rabita Committee Karachi: 4 September 2013 Muttahida Qaumi Movement’s Rabita Committee has said that the views expressed in the cabinet meeting called for the restoration of peace in Karachi looks promising. They said that MQM would support all legal and constitutional steps for the permanent peace in Karachi. MQM is the sole representative of Karachi and needs the restoration of peace in Karachi badly. It believes that targeted operation against terrorists and extortionists should be carried out with impartiality and transparency so rule of law and restoration of peace can achieved. The Rabita Committee said that the practical steps taken by federal, provincial and law enforcement agencies will tells us whether they are sincere in the restoration of peace in the city. The steps taken by the government will tell whether they are taken for the elimination of terrorists and extortionists who are playing with the lives of businessmen, industrialists and innocent citizens or their plan is something else. The Rabita Committee said that MQM wanted to see the restoration of peace, and law and order in Karachi. MQM will support every positive step.
