MSF-France Job Advertisement MEDICAL ASSISTANT Médecins Sans Frontières - France (MSF-F) is a medical humanitarian organization currently running mother and child health care and therapeutic nutrition program in Aweil Civil Hospital, in Northern Bahr El Ghazal. MSF-F is now looking for highly motivated and enthusiastic candidates for the position of Medical assistant. Medical Assistant provides quality healthcare in the various departments which MSF operates in Aweil Civil Hospital. He/she technically supervises nurses, nurse assistants/aids and cleaners. His main responsibilities include: · Patient care and triage · Medication and material management · Statistics · Supervision of nursing staff · Ward management (depending on assigned duty station) · Postnatal care · Hygiene and infection control MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS: · Formal training as a medical assistant/clinical officer (minimum 3 years) · Excellent written and verbal English language skills (Arabic and Dinka is an asset) · Legal authorization to work in South Sudan · Flexibility · Capacity to support heavy workload DESIRABLE CRITERIA: · Experience working with an MSF section / International NGOs.
