MURAT SAKARYALI Murat Sakaryalı, born as a musician’s son in 1970 laid the foundations for his first music education within the structure of ‘’Feridun Darbaz Musiki Cemiyeti’’. He has become very popular and well known for musical performances thanks to his musical skills as well as his music education since his childhood and he had a chance to play violin with virtuoso musicians. Sakaryalı who figured out that his Classical Turkish Music education will not be able to satisfy his love for music and who was in search of different music genres moved to Germany and he improved himself in Western Music by studying for ‘Jazz Harmony’ in Ipslon Music Academy located in Berlin for 4 years. Upon return to Turkey, he worked with the most famous singers of that period; he especially performed his duties as arranger, band chief and music director for records and stage performances of big artists such as Zeki Müren, Bülent Ersoy, İbrahim Tatlıses, Kibariye and Emrah. Murat Sakaryalı, who has accompanied Kempa Yaylı Grubu for studio recording for 7 years has become a musician who is engraved in memory of all arrangers, producers and artists by proving his support for backstage of Turkish popular music. What makes Murat Sakaryalı different is to combine Turkish musical form with his education for western music and to particularly present his music with an idea of his own world view as a close follower of all music genres. He has been recently concentrated on albums of artists coming from North Africa, Iraq and Azerbaijan and made various artistical works. He has been also very popular and well known violin virtuoso for concerts at abroad and workshops organized for conservatory students. Murat Sakaryalı added 3 albums to his musical career as well as his artistical works stated above and he always aimed for success before the audience as well as backstage.
