MY AMERICAN HORROR STORY SERIES THEORY! Dont read if you dont wanna know. This is just a theory, but we have recently been given the information that all the seasons will be connected.We have already gotten some tid bits this season that are tying things together in the worlds of AHS, and Im sure many more will be to come. Not to mention, that we have been given parallels throughout every season (aka characters going thru similar things, characters that an actor plays having similar traits or being in similar situations, lines from one season being said again in the same or slightly different ways in another season) and characters with similar names. Now I want to stop and point out the WOO (Wizard of Oz) theory. In Wizard of Oz Dorthy is transported to a magical land, which is actually a coma dream, and the people in her real life show up in this coma dream in roles similar to who they are in her real life. I am really starting to get the feeling that we just might end up with a WOO type ending for the series... that we are seeing the same faces over and over again in these (american horror) stories because they are dreams, and those are the people in the coma persons real life reappearing in the dreams. So right now youre probably going.... Amber... youre really reaching with this one. But hear me out. We have been having Wizard of Oz references and easter eggs thrown at us for a while now, and this season they have really been the heaviest. In each season we have people getting sucked into strange worlds inhabited by supernatural creatures and odd beings. In Asylum Lana wears glittery red shoes just like Dorthys during the name game performance. Last season in Coven Theres a reference to TOTO (the band, but thats also Dorthys dogs name!) by FrankenKyle. Also Fiona tells Delia Dont make me drop a house on you. This season we have Bette and Dot on a farm, in black and white, and Bette wants to go see a movie in GLORIOUS Technicolor. Bette also says when she moved her world went from black and white to color. They also say Were nobodys trained monkey and Dot tells Jimmy in her dream sequence I go by DORTHY now that half of me is gone. Twisty brings his captive boy a little tin man of sorts, and theres also a tin man (suit of armor) of sorts in Dandys playroom. Theres ALSO a stuffed lion, tiger, and bear in Dandys playroom ;) OH MY! :D Theres opium use this season, and Dorthy passes out from a poppy field in Oz (opium is refined poppy) and there is a creepy monkey in an outfit an awful lot like the flying monkeys in Oz in this years main titles as well. Oh... and the wizard of Oz himself is a magician who wears a top hat which we have been bombarded with this season. Esmerelda means Emerald, and Dorthy and the gang are traveling to the emerald city. Maggie Esmerelda also has a crystal ball, the wicked witch also has a crystal ball. I will say it is also possible that were getting the clues as hints to NEXT season, not the overall series, but because of the other things I have previously mentioned, I am sticking with SERIES theory over all. IF this is accurate, whose head are we in? Well, it could be any one of many peoples. IF this is on queue, Ryan could offer that to Jessica to try to get her to stay the course. It could be Evan as well? I dont know. But I would lean the heaviest towards Sarahs head, Sarahs coma dreams. She is, after all, Dorthy, and she wore the red slippers in Name Game. I think shes a likely candidate. Have you noticed anything else I havent? What do you think about these easter eggs? Lets talk about it! :D
