MY MATES While we ponder over realities and events around us; we are always like.... My mates are getting married. My mates are getting good jobs. My mates are succeeding. My mates are living overseas. My mates are buying cars. My mates are building houses. My mates are this......my mates are that...... Its a pity you literally forgot about your mates in the mortuary, your mates in the psychiatric homes, your mates are roaming on the streets,your mates are jobless, hungry, blind, deaf....... You might not be where you wish to be but you have obviously transcended from where you were yesterday. Be thankful. Do you know: Only 6 months left and we say bye bye to 2014? Some slept yesterday and didnt wake up today? Were sinners but God showed mercy? God still has plans for you before the year ends? Some mates are there in jail without committing any crime? You ate last night but some didnt or couldnt? You have work and sources for daily living while some have nothing to look up to. Ignore people who do not understand that Gods time is all irrespective of our efforts. Ignore without considering their fake closeness to you and/or their positions as pressure from them is enough to make you lose control. Ignore people who see your existence as valueless but value what you have to offer especially how many thousands you distribute and the number of houses you have. God knows all and your life is first before anything, the need for you to ignore people who do not understand this despite their positions. And yes, I am still here not because am pure or sleep in Churches and Mosques but because of Gods mercies. You are alive not because you are faithful or because you have never sinned before but it is the MERCY of Almighty God that kept you alive. Can you just appreciate God by showing gratitude...for being alive and healthy! #LA
