MY SUNDAY FAVORITE - A HAPPY BIRTHDAY with JAMIE! Up extra early, I did my chores, worked on art. I kissed Michael good-bye as he got in his patrol car, let the dogs out one more time, and headed to the ferry. Daughter-in-law Jamie’s birthday today, our son Alexander arranged for an early dinner at a Mexican Restaurant in Everett, WA. Of course, I left in time to visit my favorite Hancock Fabric’s Store in Lynnwood, WA. Yes, I did purchase some of my fabrics! Exciting to see two new fabric collections in the store, VIA LAND, SEA, & AIR by M’Liss, is a sequel. My PETS at the BEACH by M’Liss group, features, Alice and her Puppy Girls, Josephine, Frances, and Marie, in vintage bathing suits. Jamie and Alexander came by the store to say “Hi!” before dinner; they were at the nearby mall. I had already paid for and double bagged the Americana Rooster items Jamie had told me she loved at our last visit! They coordinate with the AMERICANA by M’Liss Apron I posted, May 2, 2014. Jamie selected the fabrics, happy to receive the apron as a Birthday Gift! I pulled into the parking lot of the restaurant, Alexander, laden with gifts, motioned for me to park next to their SUV. I thought the family was already in the restaurant. I gathered my things, turned around to open the door…Sweet Roslyn was smiling at me through the window…As good as it gets! I opened the car door and my two-year-old granddaughter jumped into my lap. Jamie next to her, offering me an umbrella, it was pouring. We met Jamie’s family inside, mother, father, brother, sister, their spouses, baby nephew, and Nicole. A lovely birthday dinner, wonderful Sunday, and Jamie enjoyed all her gifts. A quick ferryboat ride to the Island and all Our Pets, still pouring. Kenny is always happy when I return home; it is nice to have my father still keep track of me. Michael just arrived home, fixing dinner, an early night for him. Thank you for so many “Happy Birthday Wishes” and “Thank you’s” to Jamie on our AM post, “MY SUNDAY FAVORITE – HAPPY BIRTHDAY JAMIE!
