MY TESTIMONY.... On this day last year I started getting bad headaches and nothing I was taking would work... I went from Jan 1st - Jan 5th with excruciating pained headaches... I went to Collins E R n they found nothing, I went Wesley E R n that told me I had the flu (which I knew that was not the problem)... I felt like I was dieing... Wesley gave me a pill to take, n that pill put me all the way down, I slept from that Friday night to 1:00 a.m. that Sunday morning ... When I woke up my headache was the worse it had been all week.. I couldnt even lift my head from my pillow... I felt for my phone n called 911... After that phone call I remember nothing.. I just know I woke up at Forrest General Hospital that Thursday morning in ICU with tubes n wires hooked up all over n in my body... I was told that I had been in ICU on life support for 5 days and I had been diagnosed with VIRAL MENINGITIS ... I remained in the hospital a few more days after... But my mother Sheila Weathersby Burbridge never left my side.. My father Alonzo Burbridge was over seas at work but he finally made it n he also never left my side.. I just thank God so much for sparing my life.. That is a time in my life I will never forget I learned a lot from that. Ill never take life for granted n I live each day as if it were my last n I pray n thank God everyday for life.. I cant imagine my children growing up without me.. I had hundreds of phone calls n a bunch of people who came to visit me n attempt to visit but I was told so many people came to hospital they had to stop the visitors.. I thank. Each n every one of u who were praying for me n thought of me at that time.. Ur prayers worked.. N Im just so blessed n thankful... I cant thank God enough...
