MYSTERY MONDAY PHOTO CHALLENGE! Every Monday between NOON and 6 PM, I offer a mystery photo to you music lovers with a challenge to identify (one of) the figure(s) in the picture. The first to respond correctly will be added to a list of weekly winners that will all become eligible to win some nice musical-related prizes (to be announced near New Years Eve) in a random drawing at the end of the year. Sound like fun? I hope so. The only 3 rules are as follows: 1) No PMs please, all answers must be publicly posted on this MUSIC HISTORY 101 group page only. 2) Wrong guesses arent counted against you and you may continue guessing as often as you like. 3) Everyone may play and each win adds another chance to be selected in the drawing. THIS WEEKS CLUE: After he received an acoustic guitar from his grandmother, this youngster (shown with his parents) later borrowed his fathers car and ran away to California to visit family friends and begin his music career. His father flew to California in a friends jet to retrieve him and the boy reluctantly returned to finish high school. He later became one of the most celebrated American singer/songwriters and even became a well-respected actor.
