Made a slight recovery today at the FLW Rayovac series on Guntersville. I had 4 that went 13-0, for a 2-day total of 18-7 and 66th out of 160+. We spent almost all day fishing shallow around the weeds. Caught them on a Bionic Custom Thunder Bait, and on Snack Daddy Snack Stix. At the end of the day we went out to a deep water hump, and with five minutes left I caught one over 5 1/2 pounds on a Carolina Rig. I brought in five today, but my partner didnt have a measuring board. I had to throw one back that was 1/8 too short... I missed a check by 2 pounds. That was the perfect ending to this tournament that was riddled with mistakes on my part. I lost three big fish yesterday, and I lost another four and a five pounder today. I had the fish on to easily be on the lead going into day three, but for some reason it just wasnt meant to be. Cant wait for the next one already!!!
