Majors - American Red sox take game 1 of the 3 game series 10-5 Red Sox who were down 0-2 after the top of first inning came back to score 10 runs in their first 3 at bats. Dan Markowski ,Liam Marr, Gerard Collins, Will Pacheco, Damon Carmignani, Vaughn Goldsmith, and Adam Iagallo all drove in runs. Jared Arone , Ryan Padula , Chris Coscia, and Nick Quinn had big hits for the Angels. The Red Sox received solid pitching from Will Pacheco and Gerard Collins. Game 2 Tuesday night Red Sox win 3-2 and advance to the finals. Great defense and pitching were on display for both teams as the Red Sox take the series 2-0. The Red Soxs Cole McDermott held the Angels to 1 run after 3 innings. In the top of the fourth, Gerard Collins singled and Will Pacheco put the Red Sox ahead for good with a 2 run home run. Liam Marr, Gerard Collins and Will Pacheco held the Angels to 1 run over final 3 innings. The Angels Ryan Padula pitched a great 6 innings. Nick Quinn and Jonathan Turner contributed with big hits for the Angels. The defending champions Angels had a fantastic year finishing the regular season at 11-5. Coach Ryan Jette will have a strong team retuning next year. The Red Sox will face the Cardinals in game 1 of the finals Saturday morning 9:00am at Fletcher field
