Make Music Philly will kick off with an improvisational performance by a drumset ensemble curated by Philly Drum Project and featuring PDP members, PLUS a group performance with the community (you) and drumstick and cymbal giveaways from Zildjian! ALL ARE WELCOME: Bring a percussion instrument of your choice and join in on the performance. Suggested instruments include (but are not limited to): snare drum, tom tom, cymbal, djembe, cowbell, bongos or vibraslap. Makeshift instruments welcome such as 5-gallon bucket, trash can lids, saucepans… be creative! A limited number of drumsticks will be provided, compliments of Zildjian.
