Make sure your debt collectors are correctly reporting your debts. If youve filed bankruptcy and received a discharge, your credit report should reflect that. If a debt collector is incorrectly reporting your debts, you may have a case against them. The FCRA requires the 3 credit reporting companies to offer one free credit report every 12 months.
