Making a sketch of your idea makes it easier to follow for traditional or digital painting later on. Whether youre making an illustration, a design, a painting, a comic or even handicrafts, Sketching is the draft blueprint of construction. I usually use sketchbooks or small notebooks for making quick sketches that I can scan later to build upon on computer. I also love sketching on software like Sketchbook Pro or Manga Studio or even on my Phone. If you feel like you have an idea, stop and put it down on paper. You can always go back to your notes and be inspired by your own trail of thoughts whenever you need inspiration. I use a lot of sketchbooks and theyre essential to me because I trust my ideas within their pages even many of them which are personal drawings or poetry that I keep to myself. Sketch, sketch, sketch and always sketch.
