Mana has his face back! Thankfully he has been able to be weaned off the high flow oxygen, and now has no stinky tape covering up his handsome face. He was really uncomfortable on the high flow. He didnt want to eat, drink, talk, swallow or even open his mouth because it was so intrusive. Since he has come off the high flow he has begun eating and drinking perfectly fine. He is still reluctant to talk as its painful, but he still said pardon me after he burped. He does have a smaller appetite, but he has barely eaten anything in 17 days so thats understandable. Mana got a visit from the clown doctors yesterday. It was such a nice surprise for him. He tried his hardest to maintain his poker face, but they managed to squeeze a smile, laughter and some words out of him.
