Manpower Solution is currently looking for Event Director support for Vietnams leading corporations and media advertising. AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITIES 1. Marketing Management - Develop marketing strategies and plans with the consultation of the Head of Business Development. - Maintain the strategies, manage effectively the planning, executing, tracking, reporting and evaluation of marketing activities, including but not limited to advertising, developing, purchasing and managing marketing materials (POSM, promotional gifts…). Monthly / weekly marketing review conducted as part of operations reporting for evaluation & improvement and to meet organizational objectives. - Execute online and offline marketing initiatives, integrating online and new media, email, print, direct mail, social media, company websites, SEM/SEO strategy development, brand awareness and drip marketing initiatives. The ability to coordinate these channels to work together effectively is very important. - Understand market opportunities, market trend and competitive marketing strategies as well as manage and evaluate competitors’ databases, markets and information to provide briefings and highlights to Recruitment team for their effective consultation - Actively identify market opportunities and develop marketing plan to accelerate and generation demand. - Provide feedback into product development and service offers and participates in their development; collaborate to create, launch and track performance of product and service offerings in our markets. - Achieve the Marketing Enquiries and target 2. PR & Event Management - Work with the Unit Head to continually develop, deliver and evaluate a PR and communication programme to support the current and future business objectives of the organization. - Build the VC brand and increase public awareness of our brand year on year. - Regularly secure editorial space, digital and printed, promoting the variety of VC activities and skills in local, regional and national media, trade press, VC website and other relevant publications and channels. - Actively be involved in preparing publicity brochures, handouts, promotional videos and multimedia programs that serve to reach VC’s image/ policies to the public - Organize and manage press conference, exhibitions, events and press tours - Share key messages with colleagues across the team. - Be the first point of call for all media enquiries, responding to requests for journalists quickly and accurately to ensure the maximization of every opportunity, with Unit Head’s supervision. - Undertake market research as necessary, to identify new promotional opportunities in order to provide topical Press releases and new stories to raise awareness and support for VC. - Stay abreast of the latest developments, best practice and learning across the sector so that this can be incorporated into all VC material and activities. - Be responsible for content of all internal and external print and electronic materials. - Ensure that all material is on brand and consistent with current VC strategies and objectives. - Draft speeches, presentations and important announcement of VC’s top executives for public meetings and staff. - Manage all related events for walks-in and enrolment targeted in close conjunction with Recruitment Managers 3. General - Develop a structured career plan for subordinates and mentor them - Oversee the supervision of staff which includes work allocation, training and problem solving - Review and evaluate the performance of subordinates in the exercise of their responsibilities to ensure coordinated staff effort in meeting the goals of the company - Motivate staff to achieve peak productivity, performance and targets - Develop and prepare the annual operating budget for the department and manage the expenditure within the approved budget - Prepare periodic agreed reports for Management timely - Conduct induction/orientation for new subordinates - Undertake any other assignments as delegated by Line manager and/or the COO JOB REQUIREMENTS: - Minimum Academic/ Professional Qualification - Vietnamese national is preferred or qualified personnel to be based in Hanoi, Vietnam - Graduate in Business Management / Marketing / Public Relations or business related degree preferably from an internationally reputable university Related Experience - At least four (4) years of management experience in Marketing and Communications areas in an international working environment (in a foreign multinational company in Vietnam or overseas) - Proven copy writing experience for PR articles, direct mail, email, web and events - Intensive experience in Internet Marketing is desired.
