Many folks have not actually given their lives to Christ but have merely switched camp. For instance, if your definition of love is a V-chest, 6 stiletto heelz, pointed nose etc you have just imported the world into the body of Christ and have not converted at the core. If truly your life is in someones hands, could you still have control? Christianity and the world are on the opposite side of the spectrum its either or no matter how minute the difference might be. Many people have just Christianize the worldly philosophies and yet wonder why their lives are not any different from what they used to be in the world, wake up! See love and define it as God sees it and look at success as God looks at it. Case in Point: Joseph in Genesis 39 was in prison and had seemingly lost everything but God called him prosperous. Pause! Prosperity is therefore not what you have but actually WHO you have. Second Case: The church in Laodecia, Revelations 3; people had material possessions and were rich but God called them pitiful, naked, poor and blind! Hold up, what is success? Success is doing the will of God. Thats the reason why people switch from one relationship to another hoping to find that guy/gal who will satisfy them. Tell you what, THEY DONT EXIST! The only person big enough for that desire is CHRIST! Feed on Him and you will not need anything more to add! See marriage as a springboard for ministry and dont reduce it to hormonal activity and emotional solitaire! BZ
