Many of my family have served in the Military, but very few of them ever saw action. I believe one of my cousins has flown missions in the Middle East, I think thats the most recent combat veteran Ive got. Other cousins, help me out here. But! My Grandfather (on me Pappys side) was a Torpedo man in WWII. While on shore leave in Hawaii one day he found a brochure for a military Engineering school and requested a transfer. Its a good thing he did, as the next time his Sub shipped out, it was never heard from again. This is why I believe in Guardian Angels. Then HIS Grandfather (if Im not totally screwing up the lineage) served in the Philippines in the Spanish American War. While on patrol he and his patrol buddies came across a young woman. His fellow soldiers proved they did not need to be in the gene pool anymore. Not long after, her family found them and took care of that problem. He was spared, because he refused to be a douchebag. Just thought Id make Veterans day a little more personal than my general youtube links.
