Many of u reading this will know that I am a Retired Major General in the South African Air Force. And as such in last few years of my retirement was intimately involved with the newly acquired Air Force aircraft! I have been following the Seriti Commission - and I must add, with many of its flaws. All the people who had previously claimed they were going to drop a bomb shell at the hearings because they had evidence that was going to expose the rot!!! Well take it from me, their performance was nothing but lousy!! They had no evidence but a whole lot of kak to present at the commission! From Patricia Dellile to the Advocate who ended up being a cry baby at the hearings!!! I for one am still waiting to hear of any tangible evidence proven beyond any reasonable doubt that there was corruption at Government level in acquiring those aeries, ships and subs!!! So for now the arms deal can be removed from the list!!! So se die Generaal!!!
