Many of years I have lessened to my Grandfather share what he would about being a Veteran, Friends and Family that fought for our freedom speak about what they could or would. Those who haven’t been there try to understand, and we are thankful, but we will never know what they have gone through to and keep what our generations given their life protecting. We sit around on our Ipads, Phones and TV living in a false understanding about our world, and only a few see the true reality of this world and then have to live with it for the rest our their lives. I am a lucky one. Parent that is! My Son came home alive and whole! But we need to know that none come back the way they left. Mine left, and surly came back a man. I’m proud of you, Thankful for you! And thankful for the park of you, that you gave away for everyone else. What you gave away for the people you don’t know and will never know. I want you to know, I don’t need a special day to remind me of that, I think about it every day! I am thankful every day! I’m thankful for you! And those like you! Because there are truly DAMN FEW LEFT! God Bless you, and though you will never admit in your bumble heart. You are a true Hero to all, MY HERO! I love you Dillon!
