Many people have earned a lot of money from the fake it til you make it philosophy. Personally I am not a fan. I see it as lying and that cant be a good way to start a partnership or build a team. Presenting yourself as some sort of jet setting superstar with a team of thousands that you personally helped to earn their own fortunes is deception and unethical, as far as I am concerned. However, there is nothing wrong in acting the way you intend to in advance of WHEN you have that successful team. Never mind even if your team consists of just ONE person. If you know there would be things you would do if your team was made up of 50 people, act in that way now. For example, would you have regular hangouts on google every week, if you had 50 people in your team? Well do it when you have just 1. You current team members will appreciate the effort you are putting in and it will inspire them to do the same, meaning that your big team will be created that much faster. Plus, you are preparing yourself for the effort you want to put in and when you are doing it for real you will be so much more proficient and professional, thanks to all the practice.
