Marie Tino remembers coming out as a lesbian at her workplace nearly 10 years ago and while many employees treated her well, the ridicule she suffered from her manager and several others still sticks with her. Tino shared her story for the first time on Monday, May 5, to the Fenton City Council during a work session to consider a non-discrimination ordinance that would protect members of the LGBT community.
