Martial Artists view of Monday I am the chief instructor at Dragon Fire Martial Arts. I am truly fortunate to be able to teach martial arts as my profession. Over many years of training I have learned and embraced the concept of fall down 7 times get up 8. One of the reasons I love Monday mornings is to me it is like a new beginning each week. If I have fallen down in the previous week, I consider it time to get up brush my self off and move ahead. It is a chance to start fresh and look forward to what the week will hold. New challenges and opportunities abound, and it is up to me to reach out and embrace them. Some I may succeed at and some I may learn from, both are equally important. The martial arts teaches us as long as we get up we are moving forward. Let’s all embrace our week, train hard, and move forward. Lois Skidmore
