Martin Luther King Day Garbage and Trash Collections Schedules Martin Luther King Day (Monday, 1/20/14) will be observed as a city holiday. In order to provide service to everyone in a timely manner, garbage and trash collections will be as follows: Residential Garbage Collections Monday routes will be collected on Tuesday Tuesday routes will be collected on Wednesday Wednesday routes will be collected on Thursday Thursday routes will be collected on Friday In an effort to control costs in 2014, residential trash collections have been modified. Residential Trash Collections Monday routes will be collected on Tuesday Tuesday routes will be collected on Wednesday Wednesday routes will be collected on Thursday Thursday routes will be collected the following Thursday, January 30th Cainhoy and Daniel Island There are no changes to these collections. Please place your garbage and trash curbside by 6:30 AM the morning of your collection day. Call Environmental Services Division with any questions at 724-7365.
