May the first... May Day... Beltane... a special day for pagans, and trade unions... and, coincidentally, my personal, uh... bicycle day, if ya dig! Technically, my ride that day back in 1988 was a 1977 Olds Cutlass that belonged to my drummer friend and bandmate, Brad Bruns (R.I.P.)... we actually got pulled over, mid-peak, and Brad didnt have his drivers license on him, so I had to drive his car for the first time, search his room for his wallet, and then deliver it to the police station... it was a minor violation, we got out of there, and the rest of our trip was pretty damn fun. Somewhere I have a cassette of a jam we had that day, side one with me on guitar and Brad on drums, side 2 with me on drums and Brad on guitar. #TBT
