Maybe the takeaway from Robin Williams suicide shouldnt be whether or not killing himself was a selfish act, maybe we should focus on the fact that no matter how rich, famous, or loved you are, mental illness is a difficult beast to tame. Instead of arguing with people about his death, take a minute out of your day to make someone smile. After all what better legacy could a comedian leave than to encourage us to make someone smile or laugh each day. That may not free someone from the grip of depression but it doesnt hurt either.
