Me and Charlie did the Martin Christmas parade last night. Its one of those love-hate things.... I have to get home, bust my tail to get barn chores done, hook up trailer, clean up the nastiest horse in the barn (who also needs a haircut or his bridle will never fit over that mohawk that used to be his bridle path), load up some tack, get on enough clothes to keep from freezing, get myself back to town before they shut the streets down for said parade.....WHEW!!! But as you ride down they street and hear all those little kids saying, LOOK!!!! Theres a HORSE!!! and you hear folks crying out, MERRY CHRISTMAS! and you respond back (and not *happy holiday vacation* ITS CHRISTMAS PEOPLE)! and then I got to see Claire and she got to come out and pet Charlie on the nose as we passed, its just all worth it. The Martin Christmas parade rocks!
