Me and Sandy McDonald Tolley spent July 4th weekend in Nashville, 2 blocks from the Ryman Auditorium. I bet half the folks didnt know that they were right next to 2 of the awesomest places in Country Music, the Ryman and The Earnest Tubb Record Shop. If you love REAL country music and you havent walked into the Record Shop just to feel the presence and the heart of country music such as Lorretta, Conway, Willie, Hank Sr, Hank Snow, Earnest Tubb, Little Jimmy Dickens, Patsy Cline, Waylon, Johnny, Barbara Mandrell, Crystal Gayle, Kitty Wells, etc... Then you are soooo missing out !!! Reluctantly left Nashville and drove to Lynchburg to tour the Jack Daniels Distillery, omg I was sooo thirsty..hehe,, walked over to downtown square and omg the Harleys parked around the square were mind numbing, Didnt get to see The Tolley House but will next time. Budweiser has it all wrong, Country Music, Jack Daniels and Harley Davidsons, it just dont get any better than this...
