Meat cookery workshop To support the renewed focus on food skills, cooking and nutrition in the curriculum, Meat and Education are hosting a number of red meat cooking courses for secondary school food teachers. The aim of the course is to demonstrate basic and more challenging butchery techniques and meat recipes that could be used at KS3, GCSE and A-level. Teachers will cook three dishes, as well receive updates on the curriculum, core competences and the School Food Plan. Free resources will also be made available. The course is free to attend for teachers. Places are available on a first-come-first-served basis. Due to the practical nature of the workshop only 20 spaces available - please book early to avoid disappointment.
