Media industrys primary tool of control foremost is Propaganda. The propaganda model is advocated by the elites, conforming to the normative opinion that the general public is dangerous, having to be controlled by deception, a sort of evolving form of mass yellow journalism. Propaganda is the technique designed and mastered to control the public mind for the media sees the masses of society as one large living organism, ill-informed and somewhat aloof. When reviewing the history of the media it was deemed that once the state lost its capacity to control the masses by force (feudal system) to an evolving free democracy of the modern era, manufactured illusions and fabrications were created for the public good since the perception by the elite of most modern societies is that the masses are well- ignorant and superstitious. Herein Media transcends itself as the oligarchs voice box of reason, target marketing, consumerism, monetary/economic and political framing and agenda setting. With the master tool of media in hand, the shift from a free democracy into an oligarchical society becomes the new reality. A sort of Oz behind the curtain or veil of control. RIM~
