Meet Dempsey, our other urgent case from last night. Dempsey is a little Maltese who has been on his own for a long time. He was so severely matted, it was not evident if he was a boy or girl! Underneath the mats he felt thin. A concerned citizen had been feeding him, and was finally able to catch him last night. He was taken to Wigglebutt Farms for boarding and a necessary grooming. Upon being shaved, a large lump (about the size of a plum) was noted on the back of his neck, and he also has some sort of wound/issue on his bottom (graphic). We are asking for donations for his care, grooming, and boarding. Boarding is $10/day, grooming is $44, and he will require basic exam, heartworm test, fecal, vaccines, rabies, bordatella, neuter, pain meds, and his two medical issues examined/treated.
