Meet Francine (# 95203) an older female Rottie who came in as a stray after being found a few days ago in Asheville NC. A nice citizen found her, could not find a shelter, so brought her back to Raleigh, NC with them. She is now at the Wake County Animal Shelter and needs SHARES to find her possible owners or a RESCUE. This girl HAS owners out there but shes in the wrong place to find them. We need our fans to help network this girl, someone is looking for her, they have to be because she is SO SWEET! Francine is marked RESCUE ONLY because she has some medical issues, she is a bit weak and her front leg is very swollen, Xray indicates no breaks. She also has some large pendulous tumors hanging off her. She knows SIT follows commands, and is a total LOVE BUG. She leans in for kisses and enjoys being loves on. Staff and our team LOVE her. If you are a 501 C3 rescue who can help please contact Cindy at cindy.lynch@wakegov. Francine is located at the Wake County Animal Center in Raleigh NC Original Post by Friends of Wake County Animal Center https://facebook/media/set/?set=a.477930618970945.1073742663.230754953688514&type=1 Shelter Information: 820 Beacon Lake Drive, Raleigh Phone: (919) 212-7387 Open: Everyday 12pm-6pm services.wakegov/adoptiongallery/ Out-of-Town, Out-of-State, Long-Distance Adoptions from WCAC The shelter simply doesn’t have the staff to work with adopters who do not personally come into the Shelter to adopt. WCAC will adopt to out-of-state individuals who can come to the Shelter. It’s in the animals best interest if the adopter meets the dog or cat in person before adopting. If there is no way for you to come to WCAC, another option is for you to find a rescue group that would be able to pull the animal of your choice and you may either adopt or foster to adopt the pet of your choice through this rescue.
