Empathy Heals By Meg Galipault on January 28, 2014 Format: Paperback I have such admiration for the author, Anne Paris, in setting out to create this trio of books on empathy. She has hit on the characteristic so needed in society, targeted for an age group--young children--who can make the most difference for us all. Teaching empathy to youngsters BEFORE they become bullies is critical. But bullies need to understand why they behave the way they do too. This volume does that, in a way that doesnt scorn and using images of bonobos that children will naturally adore. Kudos! For those with children or who teach children, this collection is a great tool for shaping healthy attitudes, respect for each other and ourselves, and delight in discovering our differences.
